Organized the files and day-to-day administrative responsibilities for the national news department of a major newspaper, which had no filing system, no tracking system for its expenses and no consistent record keeping for personnel issues.

Filed for expense reimbursement for a broadcast journalist who hadn't filed a single expense report for over five years and traveled an average of two weeks per month. Each trip had to be identified with a specific story and the "on site" currency had to be converted from local currency to US dollars to UK sterling at the time of the trip all in order to calculate the actual costs incurred.

Sorted through the papers of the executive office of a major international broadcasting company, which had approximately 120 drawers full of papers with no order or organization and developed a simple and easily maintainable filing system.

Developed a central filing system and coordinated independent file sources for an investment company (actually four separate companies under one roof), facing a Securities Exchange Commission audit. The organization had no central files, no central filing system, no personnel organization (e.g. policies, handbooks, reporting procedures, etc.).

Sorted through extensive medical bills from a two-year period in order to determine appropriate reimbursement with an insurance company that was disinclined to reimburse on any expenses. Performed the same services for another insurance company charging the client premiums for a policy for which the client did not qualify.
